How to Set Up IPTV on Samsung & LG Smart TVs

Use a player app from your TV app store, or cast from your phone, on Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs.

Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) smart TVs can run IPTV player apps from their own app stores.

App availability differs between TV models and countries. If you cannot find one, use the WebPlayer, a Fire TV Stick or Chromecast instead.

Set Up Steps

  1. Open the Samsung Smart Hub (Apps) or the LG Content Store.
  2. Search for an IPTV player app (for example Smart IPTV, Set IPTV or IBO Player) and install it.
  3. Open the app and note any MAC address or device key it shows.
  4. Add your playlist: either enter your server URL, username and password, or upload your M3U link on the app's own activation page.
  5. Restart the app and open Live TV.
